Lactoferrin: Life Support for the Production of White Blood Cells

Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein with known immunostimulatory properties, commonly present in breast milk. During the initial phase of development, when the newborn’s immune system is not yet efficient, breast milk provides vital protection thanks to the presence of lactoferrin.
